What a weekend for competitive wake surfing!
In the Pro Women’s showdown at Lake Anna, Centurion sponsored Surf Champion Ashley Kidd grabbed the top spot over Nautique’s Jodi Grassman, the top ranked Women’s Skim rider. Tige’s Raleigh Hager edged out Malibu’s Jordan Wolfe to take third. In other Lake Anna action, Amateur Jake Borton land his first ever trip to the top step of the podium in Amatuer Men Surf.
Half way around the world, the Russian Open Wake Surfing Championship went down at the Konakovo River Club on the Volga River, and Ksenia Naumova took the top spot in her debut as a Pro! In the Men’s Amateur Skim division, Vitaly Ivanov took his first win ever. In the Juniors division, Russia’s Savva Mamontov edged out Canadian Evan Hudson for the win, with Alice Koziritsky taking third.
Mantua, Utah was the venue for the second stop of Supra Boats Pro Wakesurf Tour. The banks were filled with more than 1,000 cheering fans who watched Parker Payne wrestle the win from Noah Flegel in a hotly contested final. Grant Witherell rounded the podium out at third.
